S3 CACEIS is an asset servicing company specialising in post-trade functions related to administration and custody of all asset classes. With a solid IT infrastructure, we provide execution, clearing, custody, depositary and asset valuation services in markets worldwide to assist financial institutions, global custodians, insurance companies, asset management companies and corporate clients.
S3 CACEIS is owned by its historical shareholder Santander and CACEIS, a European leader in asset servicing.
Santander acquired a stake in the capital of CACEIS at the end of 2019 and contributed its asset servicing and institutional custody activities in Spain and Latin America (Brazil, Mexico and Colombia) to CACEIS. This transaction has brought together CACEIS and Santander Securities Services (S3) to create a leading global player serving international institutional clients.
On July 3, 2023, CACEIS completed the acquisition of RBC Investor Services Bank S.A. activities in Europe and Malaysia, which have been rebranded CACEIS Investor Services Bank S.A.

Susana Montero
Managing Director - S3 CACEIS Colombia
Graduate in finance and international trade with a postgraduate programme in financial management, Susana has also completed the advanced management programme at the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid.
She has more than 20 years of experience in the financial sector, especially in the fiduciary sector and capital markets, 15 of them in the securities services business in different positions and responsibilities such as commercial manager, product manager, area manager and general manager of trust companies; she joined CACEIS in July 2021 as Chief Executive Officer of S3 CACEIS Colombia S.A, Sociedad Fiduciaria, with responsibility for the strategic direction of the company and the development of the custody business in the Colombian market.
Due to his experience in the market, Susana has actively participated in the development and regulation of the legal framework of the custody business, thus contributing to the implementation of good practices in the Colombian securities custody market.
