At the end of 2022, as part of a plan to accelerate our digital transformation, CACEIS launched the Connect Store, a digital distribution platform offering top-rated market solutions via partnerships with a select group of fintechs. How has the store evolved since its launch?
The Connect Store is a key pillar in CACEIS' Medium Term Plan 2025, and aims to integrate around five new fintech service partners each year.
A major project was further increasing the security of the platform’s architecture which was initially deployed in 2022. At launch, the Connect Store included four partner solutions: Clarity AI, Sismo, FundGlobam and Osmoze.
"For Clarity AI and Sismo, we now offer Single Sign On (SSO), which allows authorised users to open the platform directly from the MyApp menu in OLIS and view a pre-defined set of portfolios", explains Sabine Iacono, Group Product Manager at CACEIS.
Testing is underway for an online investment module where clients can designate eligible fund portfolios in which investors can deposit payments after electronically signing the general terms and conditions. CACEIS and the supplier’s integration team will set up the services for the client, who will then take over control from the OLIS MyApp menu.
“Now that the Connect Store has been migrated over to the new version of Olis, we have taken the opportunity to update the interface to make data visualisations even more intuitive to use and provide access to live or recorded webinars", adds Sabine Iacono.
The two upcoming fintechs that will join the Connect Store this year will be more focused on private equity and real estate clients’ needs, including:
- Cash account aggregation: Facilitating secure tracking of all cash accounts held across several custodians, managing counterparties/suppliers and processing bulk payments.
- PRIIPS reports: a focussed solution for generating regulatory reports will be offered initially in France before a roll-out to all other CACEIS entities.
- ESG reports.
The Connect Store will soon announce some new fintech partners that are in the final testing phase. These will offer services that benefit a broad range of clients and also services that provide cutting-edge solutions specifically for pensions industry clients.
