Chief Executive Officer
CACEIS's Chief Executive Officer, Jean-François Abadie joined Banque Indosuez’s Internal Audit department in 1981, subsequently becoming Deputy Chief Internal Auditor in 1987. After heading up the Major Corporate Clients division in Paris (from 1989 until 1992), he joined Indosuez Carr Futures as Senior Manager. He was subsequently Chief Operating Officer of Banque Indosuez in Spain (1995), Chief Executive Officer of the Banque Indosuez España SA subsidiary (1996) and then Chief Operating Officer of Crédit Agricole Indosuez in London (1999). In 2003, he was named as Corporate Secretary of the Private Banking division. From 2008 until 2010, Jean-François Abadie served as Head of Private Banking (DBP) in France and at International Operations. From 2010 until 2015, he was CEO of Crédit Agricole Luxembourg and the Group’s Senior Country Officer in Luxembourg. Since October 2015, he has been Head of Global Operations.

Deputy Chief Executive Officer, in charge of steering and control functions
CACEIS's Deputy CEO, Sylvie Philippot began her career with Arthur Andersen in 1986 and joined Crédit Agricole as Head of Management Control for Unicrédit in 1989. She then moved into project finance in 1992, before assuming global responsibility for this field in 1996. Following Crédit Agricole’s acquisition of Banque Indosuez, she held various structured finance posts within Crédit Agricole Indosuez (CAI) before becoming Corporate Secretary in charge of support functions for this business. During this time, she was notably in charge of the operational aspects of the merger between CAI and Crédit Lyonnais. In 2007, she joined Calyon’s Financial Division with responsibility for budgeting, planning and management control, and was also a member of the Management Committee. Sylvie Philippot was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of CACEIS, in charge of steering and control functions, as from June 2010.

Deputy Chief Executive Officer, in charge of Business Development, Products and Solutions, Communications and Public Affairs, Operations, IT systems and Organisation
CACEIS's Deputy CEO, Joseph Saliba joined Sabre in 1989, the world’s leader in providing management consulting, technology and travel information to the airline industry. He managed Sabre’s operations in France, the UK and internationally. In 1999, he became President of Sabre’s management consulting and technology business unit, a billion dollar operation based in Dallas, Texas. In 2001, he joined CGI, a global provider of IT and BPO services, At CGI, he held several executive positions including: President - Europe and Asia Pacific, President - USA and India, and President - Business Process Services. Joseph Saliba was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of CACEIS, in charge of business development, products and solutions, communications and public affairs, as from January 2012. As form May 1st 2017, he is also in charge of operations, IT systems and organisation.
Joseph Saliba holds a Bachelor of Computer Sciences and Mathematics from Sherbrooke University in Sherbrooke, Québec.
Chief Information Officer
Fabien Azavant began his career in 1998 as co-founder of an IT startup in Philadelphia, facilitating the usage of data on the internet. He then worked at INSEE in 2000. In 2001, he joined Crédit Lyonnais Asset Management, as project manager on the transformation of the back-office. He then managed several IT teams for front-office, risk and operations, and was promoted deputy Chief Information Officer in 2007. With the creation of Amundi in 2010, he was appointed Global Head of Middle-Office and Client Reporting. In 2015, Mr. Azavant reported to the General Management, in charge of strategic projects in international entities, including post-merger integration. He then joined CACEIS in 2017 as Group Head of IT and Member of the Group Executive Committee.
Fabien Azavant is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique (Paris), and has an engineering degree from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications (Paris). He is also a CFA charterholder.
Chief Operation Officer
Chief Operation Officer, David Baert started his career in 1993 at Accenture and managed re-engineering and implementation projects for Luxemburg and Belgian banks. In 1999, he joined the CACEIS group (formerly Fastnet Luxembourg) as a project manager within the Organisation department. From 2004 to 2010, he was appointed Head of a number of operational departments. In 2010, he set up and managed the Group Banking Services business line. In 2013 he was appointed Head of CACEIS’s entities in Ireland, North America and the United Kingdom and became a member of the CACEIS group Executive Committee. In 2016, he was appointed Chief Operation Officer.
David Baert graduated from Facultés Universitaires Notre-Dame de la Paix of Namur in Economics.
Managing Director in Luxembourg
Philippe Bourgues began his career as a consultant with Marine Consulting in 1995. He joined Banque CPR as Front Office and Risks Project Manager in 1998. In 2001, be became Manager of IT Development and Project Ownership for CPR Asset Management. In 2005, he was promoted to Operations Manager and became a member of CPR Asset Management’s Executive Committee. In 2012, he joined CACEIS Fund Administration as Head of Front Office Solutions and member of the Management Committee. In 2014, he was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer for CACEIS Bank France and CACEIS Fund Administration. In 2017, he becomes Managing Director for CACEIS Bank, Luxembourg Branch and a member of the CACEIS Executive Committee.
Philippe Bourgues holds a degree from the engineering school ISEP (Avionics and Large Projects option).
Head of Organisation
Head of Organisation, Denis Chaley began his career in the banking world with CNETI (the IT centre for the Caisses d’Epargne network) in 1986. He then moved into IT services with PBA, for whom he worked on large accounts such as BNP and Banque Indosuez, before joining the latter in 1992 with responsibility for building a dedicated MONEP (options) platform. Following the acquisition of Banque Indosuez by Crédit Agricole and the creation of CAI, he assumed responsibility for IT developments for securities business lines where he developed the first client-oriented web solutions (iod@ en 2001). After working as IT Development Manager for CA-IS Bank and then CACEIS Bank, he was appointed Head of IT Systems for CACEIS Bank in 2007, before his responsibilities were broadened to include Fastnet in 2009. In 2013, he became Advisor to General Management before being named Head of Organisation for the CACEIS Group in 2015.

Head of International Development
Head of International Development, Pierre Cimino began his career as assistant to the Chief Financial Officer of Solvay Belgium. He joined Banque Indosuez Luxembourg in 1992, and initially worked as client relationship manager within the dealing room before becoming a spot dealer in 1994. In June 1996, he became Head of Human Resources for Banque Indosuez Luxembourg, before taking charge of back-office banking operations and securities-cash markets in 1999. In November 2001, he was appointed a member of the Management Committee of Crédit Agricole Investor Services (CA-IS) Luxembourg and Head of Business Analyst team and General Functions. In January 2006, he was appointed Managing Director of Fastnet Luxembourg S.A. Pierre Cimino has been Managing Director of CACEIS Bank Luxembourg and Head of CACEIS's entities in Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy and Hong Kong. He becomes Head of International Development in January 2017. He is a member of the CACEIS group Executive Committee.

Managing Director in Germany
Managing Director of CACEIS Bank Germany Branch, Thies Clemenz started his career in Deutsche Bank where he headed the French Asset Management subsidiary; he then held various positions in HSBC as COO of HSBC Global Asset Management Deutschland, CEO of HSBC Trinkaus Investment Managers in Luxembourg, Deputy CEO of HSBC Luxembourg and later as CEO of HSBC in Armenia.
Head of Communications and Public Affairs
Head of Communications and Public Affairs, he exercised various functions for Crédit Commercial de France (the future HSBC France), including within the foreign banking network (Spain, USA, Italy) and Group General Inspection, between 1982 and 2002, before being appointed as a Director of HSBC-DEWAAY Bank in Brussels. He joined Crédit Agricole Investor Services as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fastnet France in 2002, a post he held until 2004. In 2005, he became Head of Market Relations and then later Head of Public Affairs at CACEIS. His responsibilities were then enlarged to include heading up the Communications Department in early 2014. He is also Chairman of the French Association of Securities Services Professionals and a member of numerous French and European professional commissions and working groups.
Eric Derobert graduated from Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris and has also studied international law.
Head of Permanent Controls (Depositary control, Legal, Risks, and permanent controls)
Head of Permanent Controls, Jérôme Discours began his career in 1992, as a project manager in a regional bank of the Crédit Agricole Group. He joined the Group General Inspection in 1995 and became Head of mission in 1999. In 2002, he was appointed as Head of Audit for the Crédit Agricole Group's subsidiaries in Luxembourg (Crédit Agricole Private Banking Luxembourg, Crédit Lyonnais Luxembourg and Crédit Agricole Investor Services Luxembourg).
He joined CACEIS Bank Luxembourg as Head of Risks and Human Resources in 2005. In 2008, he was appointed by CACEIS Bank Luxembourg and approved by the regulator as Head of Risks, Compliance and Legal for the bank and its subsidiaries.
Since september 2016, he is Head of Permanent Controls, with overall responsibilities on Risks, Legal and Depository Controls

Head of PERES Global Services
Head of PERES Global Services, Laurent Durdilly joined CACEIS in 2001. He has held several management positions in France and Germany within CACEIS Group. In 2010, he was appointed as Group Product & Marketing Director. Then, in 2014, he launched a new business line at CACEIS Group level embracing Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Debt and Securitisation (PERES Global Services). Laurent has enjoyed a highly diversified career within CACEIS and occupied management positions within IT, Operations and Business Development. Between 1993 and 2001, he worked for Eurogroup Consulting, where he was one of the Partners in charge of the CIB & Asset Management practice.
Laurent Durdilly has a telecoms engineering degree from Institut National des Télécommunications and a master in business administration from Paris-IX Dauphine University.
Managing Director in France
Managing Director in France, Carine Echelard began her career in 1987 in the Futures back office of Caisse de Gestion Mobilière. In 1989, she became head of the “institutional and non-resident clients” back-office at Nivard Flornoy, a brokerage firm owned by JP Morgan SA. She joined Credit Lyonnais in 1991 as a researcher on the bond market. In 1995, she became head of fund administration at Credit Lyonnais Asset Management. From 2004 to 2010, she held the position of deputy Managing Director at RBC Dexia Investor Services in France. She joined CACEIS in 2010 as deputy Managing Director of CACEIS Bank France and CACEIS Fund Administration in France. In April 2014, she was appointed Managing Director of CACEIS Bank France and CACEIS Fund Administration and is a member of the CACEIS group’s executive committee. In November 2016, she becomes Managing Director in France.
Carine Echelard graduated from the Institut Supérieur Commercial in Paris and holds a Diploma in Advanced Accounting.
General Secretary for CACEIS business development, products and solutions, communications and public affairs
General Secretary for CACEIS business development, products and solutions, communications and public affairs, Jean-Luc Eymery started his career with Banque Indosuez where he worked in capital markets operations in New York from 1989 before moving on to join capital markets risk management in Paris. In 1996, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer for Indosuez W.I. Carr Securities in Hong Kong an affiliate of Banque Indosuez. From 2002 to 2011, his assignment took him to London where he held various transversal and capital markets positions for Crédit Agricole CIB. In 2011, he took over the responsibility for Crédit Agricole CIB strategy team in Paris before joining its capital markets commercial division. Jean-Luc Eymery was appointed General Secretary for CACEIS business development, products and solutions, communications and public affairs on June 1st, 2016. He is a member of CACEIS Executive Committee.

Senior Advisor to the CEO, and responsible for the correspondent network and the issuer services
Senior Advisor to the CACEIS's CEO, and responsible for the correspondent network and the issuer services, Guillaume Fromont joined Banque Paribas within the IT Management Department in 1979. In 1982, he moved to the Securities Services division of the bank’s Financial Department and was made responsible for project management and relations with the French financial authorities, before being appointed Deputy Director in 1984. In 1988, he was named Deputy Head of Securities Services at Banque Indosuez. In 1994, he was appointed Head of Securities Services of Banque Indosuez (become Crédit Agricole Indosuez). On the creation of Crédit Agricole Investor Services (CA-IS) in November 2001, he was appointed Deputy Managing Director. In December 2001, he was also named Chairman of Fastnet Luxembourg, Fastnet Belgium and Fastnet Netherlands, and Managing Director of Crédit Agricole Indosuez Luxembourg, which became Crédit Agricole Investor Services Bank Luxembourg in 2003. In August 2005, he became a member of the Management Board of CACEIS, then a member of the Executive Committee of CACEIS in 2009, during the company’s switch from Supervisory Board to Board of Directors status. Guillaume Fromont is Administrator of the different entities of the CACEIS group and of Clearstream International.

Advisor to CACEIS General Management, in charge of CACEIS activities in North America, Emeric Laforêt spent the early years of his career in Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations’ banking and financial division, where he occupied several functions including Head of International Development and Deputy Head of the Depositary Bank. In 2000, he joined Crédit Lyonnais with responsibility for securities services. He then moved to Crédit Agricole in 2004 as Deputy Chief Executive of Crédit Agricole Investor Services Bank (CA-IS Bank) with responsibility for business development. Emeric Laforêt took charge of strategy and development for the CACEIS Group on its inception in 2005. As from March 2012, Emeric Laforêt has been appointed General Secretary for CACEIS Business Development, Product Marketing, Communications and Public Affairs and supervises CACEIS’s activities in Switzerland. In 2016, he is appointed Head of CACEIS's entities in Ireland, North America and the United Kingdom. In January 2017, he becomes Advisor to CACEIS General Management, in charge of CACEIS activities in North America. He is a member of the CACEIS group Executive Committee.

Head of General Inspection
Fabien Marbat-Milan began his career in 1998 at Arthur Andersen. From 2001 to 2006, he joined Internal Audit at Crédit Agricole Indosuez as an inspector and later as Head of Mission. In 2007, he joined Crédit Agricole CIB's Risk and Permanent Control (RPC) department, where he held the positions of Head of the Support Functions division and then of COO of the Organisation, Projects and Operational Counterparty Risk (OPG) Department. From 2012 to 2017, he served as Director of Internal Audit at UBAF, a subsidiary of CACIB, specialising in the financing of international trade.
In April 2017, he was appointed Director of Internal Audit at the CACEIS Group. He is a member of the Executive Committee of CACEIS.
Fabien Marbat-Milan is a graduate of the Institut Commercial de Nancy (ICN Business School). He also holds a BA in History of Art and Archeology from the University of Lille III.
Emmanuelle Marteau Fernandez
Head of Human Resources
Head of Human Resources, Emmanuelle Marteau Fernandez began her career at Crédit Agricole in 1997 as an internal consultant at Crédit Agricole Consultants. Two years later, she joined CASA General Inspection as an auditor, deputy and then head of audit assignments. In May 2005, she joined CACEIS as Group Head of General Inspection. Since March 2011, she has been Deputy Head of Human Resources of CACEIS group, more particularly in charge of talent management, HR development and communication and HR international coordination. In October 2016, she is appointed Head of Human Resources of CACEIS group.
Emmanuelle Marteau Fernandez graduated from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences-Po) and holds a Master's degree (DESS) in management from Sorbonne University (Paris I).
Head of Products
Arnaud Misset joined CACEIS in 2011 as the Group’s Head of Products. Before joining CACEIS, Arnaud was a director at PwC and Eurogroup Consulting. Specialising in the banking sector, he worked on numerous projects ranging from IT projects to strategic development issues for both securities and retail banks.
Arnaud holds a Master’s degree in Risk Management from the HEC Business School in Paris as well as a degree in International Business Law from Paris V University.

Head of Prime Fund Solutions
CACEIS's Head of Regional Coverage France and Head of Prime Fund Solutions, Hubert Montcoudiol began his career in 1988 at FIMAT (part of the Société Générale group) as a trading room salesperson before opening their Madrid office. From 1994 to 2003, with Crédit Agricole Indosuez, and more specifically with the brokerage Carr Futures, he began managing the Asia branch from Singapore, before taking responsibility for the Europe region. Between 2004 and 2008, he worked at FIMAT again to manage the business development side of clearing in the Europe region, before creating his own Consultancy firm. In 2010, he joined the GFI group to develop their clearing activity with their subsidiary, Kyte Group. In December 2012, he joined CACEIS as Head of Prime Fund Solutions and as a member of the Executive Committee.
Hubert Montcoudiol is a graduate of the University of Paris IX Dauphine.
CACEIS's Treasurer, Gilles Normand started his career with Paris-based Banque Indosuez in 1973, which then became Crédit Agricole Indosuez (CAI), Calyon, and finally Credit Agricole Corporate And Investment Bank (CA-CIB). Over this 17-year period, he held various positions of responsibility in the dealing rooms, notably as Co-Head of Sales, and Head of Trading for off-balance-sheet (OBS) products such as futures, forward rate agreements (FRA) and short-term interest rate swaps (IRS). In 1991, he joined Banque Indosuez Luxembourg as Local Line-Manager for Capital Markets, and was appointed as a Member of the Management Committee and Member of the Board in 1996.Since 2005, Gilles Normand has served as International Treasurer for the CACEIS Group and Head of the Group's trading room. He is also a Member of the CACEIS Group Executive Committee.

Head of Risks
Head of Risks, Delphine Quisefit resumed her career as internal auditor of Banque Indosuez, after a first experience as an external auditor with Arthur Andersen in 1990. In 1994, she joined the financial market activity of CIC Paris to take responsibility for producing results, for "Capital Adequacy" project and the complete review of the Risk and Results process from front to back. In 2000, she joined Caisse Nationale des Caisses d'Epargne’s as head of Risk. In 2002, she was appointed Deputy Group Risk Officer for Caisse d'Epargne Group. In particular, she carried out the implementation of the Basel II Group project leading to the optimisation of the Group's equity and then designed and deployed the risk monitoring group process for the Regional Banks proprietary activity. In 2005 she joined CACEIS as head of risk to drive the merger of Crédit Agricole and IXIS – Caisses d’Epargne trustee and custodian businesses in terms of risks. In this position, she also led the integration of external acquisitions in Germany, Switzerland, the United States… and the risk framework related to new activity development (clearing and execution).
Delphine Quisefit graduated from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques (IEP) in Paris and obtained a Master of Philosophy at La Sorbonne University.
Head of Compliance
Gladys Teale has started her career in the equity department of Cortal, retail customer service. Between 1998 and 2002, she was in SG securities as equity sales trading assistant then in charge of financial control for equities and convertibles lines.
In 2002, she joined Credit Agricole group. From 2002 to 2010, she carried out the functions of risk controller for Europe then Head of Risks and Compliance controls at CA Cheuvreux. In 2010, she joined CA-CIB where she successively held the positions of deputy head of Permanent & Compliance Correspondent for Operations and IT department (GIO), General secretary for Operations department (GOP) and General secretary in charge of Permanent control and Strategic & Regulatory project for Operations & Country COO (OPC).
She was appointed Head of Compliance for CACEIS group in November 2016. She is member of CACEIS executive committee.
Gladys Teale is graduated from ESSEC BBA and HES-Amsterdam Business school, she holds a master degree in International affairs.
Chief Financial and Administrative Officer
Chief Financial and Administrative Officer of CACEIS, Jean-Pierre Valentini began his career in 1991 in the audit department. He joined Bank Indosuez Luxembourg in 1992 to take charge of Financial Control before taking on the role of Treasurer in the Dealing Room from 1996 to 2001. He then became head of banking and markets at Crédit Agricole Indosuez and Crédit Agricole Investor Services Luxembourg until 2005. During 2005, he became General Secretary of CACEIS BL and then Chief Financial Officer in 2007.
In May 2014, he was appointed Group Chief Financial and Administrative Officer and member of the Executive Committee of the CACEIS group.
Jean-Pierre Valentini is a graduate of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris and holds a degree in Finance.
