In recent years, CACEIS has grown significantly through mergers and integrations, becoming a Group with 7,000 employees today, within a broader international environment. Faced with this significant cultural integration challenge, CACEIS has established a common culture to make the most of this diversity, develop a sense of belonging to the Group and motivate its employees, in order to continually improve its client servicing.
Since its creation 20 years ago, CACEIS has grown and transformed, notably through mergers and external growth transactions. With the most recent acquisition in 2023 of RBC's European asset servicing activities, the Group welcomed some 2,400 additional employees based in several European countries, as well as in Malaysia and the United States. It now has 7,000 employees in 17 countries, representing a broad range of differences that needed to be brought together.
CACEIS therefore sought to build the foundation of a common ‘ONE CACEIS’ culture by identifying four corporate values, defined based on the results of a survey involving all employees.
Claude Michaux, Global Head of Communications and co-sponsor of the Common Culture project, comments, "The objective of this collaborative and co-constructive approach was to gather staff perceptions and expectations and then propose values ??that were relevant, while ensuring a real commitment for the future."
