Overview

Die europäische PRIIPs-Verordnung (Packaged Retail Investment and Insurance-based Products) soll die vorvertraglichen Informationen von verpackten Anlageprodukten (Investmentfonds, Derivate, kapitalbildende Lebensversicherungen usw.), die Retail-Anlegern (im Sinne der MiFID II-Richtlinie) angeboten werden, vereinheitlichen.

Die Verordnung  verpflichtet denAnbieter  ein standardisiertes Basisinformationsblatt (KID) zu erstellen, das Privatanlegern die grundlegenden Informationen zum Verständnis des (Finanz-, Bank- oder Versicherungs-) Produktes bietet und  ihm den Vergleich der verschiedenen Produkte untereinander ermöglicht.

Im Rahmen der Fertigstellung der Texte bezüglich des grenzüberschreitenden Vertriebs von Fonds erklärt die Verordnung (EU) 2019/1156 vom 20. Juni 2019, die Richtlinie (EU) 2019/1160 vom 20. Juni 2019 ergänzt, die Ausweitung der Befreiung vom PRIIPs-KID für OGAW-Fonds bis zum 31. Dezember 2021 für rechtsgültig.

Zudem räumt der Text der Europäischen Kommission eine Frist bis Ende 2019 für die Überarbeitung der PRIIPs-Verordnung ein.
