The finance department is responsible for the Group's administrative and finance functions. The main roles and responsibilities of the department cover areas such as, accounting, cost controlling, budgetary follow-up, financial management, public and corporate law, fiscal law and contributions, insurance and logistics.
Within CACEIS, there is a group level, a local level with certain functional links in between
- At the group level, the finance department is in charge of administrative and finance functions together with cross-entity issues and the coordination of these functions for the entire CACEIS group;
- At local level, the teams of each legal entity are in charge of their own administrative and finance functions, coordinating with the group level department when necessary.
The profile of employee in the finance department depends on his or her position, and in terms of qualifications will require university level studies with a degree to masters level in accounting, finance, public or corporate law or fiscal law.
An ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of current regulation in his or her domain, will be both rigorous and conscientious, use initiative to resolve issues, and be able to analyse, summarise and draft documents.
For certain functions, French is essential, another language (such as German) would be an advantage.
